Location
Taken from a back yard garden. Occasionally, those things closest to us are the very things we ignore. So we walk around them. Nature is a dynamic happening. Continual motion if you will. Even though you look out the same window day after day, the view is new. It may, on the surface, appear to be the same view you just looked at, but it's not. Life is a constant motion moving us from now to well, now. In that brief space of time, everything has changed. You just need to "Look" for the changes.Time
I don't remember the day or time of day this was taken. It was just a moment caught by my camera. A memory of a piece of time if you will. I titled "Night Light from the Garden" so let's say Dusk. Perhaps it's the time of day I saw in this image at that time.Lighting
When I was creating this interpretation of the image, I was attempting to direct the view of the "Lighting" as originating in the image itself. Hense the title. Enhancing the reflections of the light off the objects in an image will show differing looks. What looks good to you?Equipment
My camera is a simple Cannon EOS T7 with a 55-250mm zoom lens. No tripod, no flash, just me and my camera.Inspiration
The search for that one moment is why I shoot. I don't know why this particular shot caught my eye at the time of shooting. Perhaps it was that delicate balance that is required for that Tulip to grab a hold, if only for a moment, that seed. Some things are your inspiration.Editing
This image is the result of "post-processing" Digital photography has given us the ability to mold an image into what we think an image should look like. My "Art" in photography is my attempt to share what I see in the things, at that time, around me.In my camera bag
My bag is an amateur's bag. A camera, some lenses, and occasionally a bottle of water. Perhaps as I do more, travel more, see more. My bag will fill. The equipment you have can be the most important part of your photography. Depending on how you intend to use it. On the other hand, that one great shot, can be captured on your phone. Not mine. But maybe yours.Feedback
My only advise here is: Take the shot! Moments come and go. You're capturing, or perhaps creating a memory. See, focus, shoot. Once in a while that's all it is. Maybe I should have said: "Look, see, focus, shoot" Nothing is truly stagnant. "Things" are in a constant state of movement. Just take the shot. Capture the "Moment".
