Behind The Lens

Location

I live in Vancouver, Washington. This was taken on my backyard porch... i don't do portrait shits i like catching the real emotion on people. This was 1 of 3 in a row....Azilee was giving her mother the I am an angel look. I have another one of her on my page. It was Black and White showing her when she was sad. i dont know if people likes it or not. But i like taking emotion shots

Time

This was in the afternoon in August between 3pm and 4pm

Lighting

the porch has a clear plastic covering and a giant Oak tree behind, blocking any direct sunlight.

Equipment

I have a Canon 70D and a Canon EFS 60mm lens1:2.8

Inspiration

I was getting the interactions between her kids and her on the porch...

Editing

I used Onone program and was very limited post processing. It was one setting for portraits.i thought maybe it was two much smoothing but it made a great photo and made Azilee's expression jump out

In my camera bag

I have my macro EFS 6omm Macro ultrasonic. This is wht i shoot with the most, it's a great portrait and depth of field lens. It takes great boken shots. I also carry my EF-S 10-22mm wide angle, I can get nice creative landscapes and creative shots. An external flash..and all my filters...
