Thanks, Betsy, for taking the time to comment! I have been heads down on a work project and hadn't seen the flurry of activity! Quite an honor for me!

Thank you, LLL! Bucket list item is to head up to OR and spend some time with those beautiful landscapes.

Location
This was taken in a nondescript field of what I think are weeds near my house.Time
Very late afternoonLighting
The golden light is from the sun starting to set in the distance straight ahead.Equipment
Canon 6D with an EF 24-105 F4 iso 100, F4, 1/250Inspiration
I was actually looking at the patterns in the field overall - looking more for a landscape but I was not impressed with how it was working out, then I saw the gold light out of the corner of my eye and got down much closer to this very delicate plant. I would love somebody to tell me what it is!Editing
In Adobe Lightroom, I cropped for the composition, dropped contrast and shadows, bumped vibrance and saturationIn my camera bag
Canon equipment: Canon 6D, more often now a 5D MKIII, 50mm, 40 mm pancake, 24-105 for a walkaround, and an old 35-350, supplement with a 16-32 if I know I'm shooting for landscapesFeedback
Look around you - I was trying for the big picture, and then found the smaller view was much more inspiring.
