Behind The Lens

Location

This place sets at the northern side of singapore, some rural area with long lalangs before it was manifested with constructions.

Time

Photo was taken at around late noon.

Lighting

I mixed the ambience daylight with 2 profoto b1 air for highlights and fill lights

Equipment

I took this photo with my Sony A7 camera.

Inspiration

This lady was one of my student and also modelling for me for this shot when I was conducting a on location portrait workshop for some of my students.

Editing

I did the post on Adobe Lightroom, did the adjustments and changed it to black and white.

In my camera bag

I must have my light meter and colour chart with me all the time, other than camera and lenses.

Feedback

High shutter speed, good source of light is important and practice a few shots to get the perfect timing right.
