1. Tell us a bit about yourself, how do you describe your photography style?

I studied Economics and Tourism and have worked for an Investment Bank for 15 years. I am a travel enthusiast, so I like to call myself an aspiring travel photographer.

2. In one sentence what has photography done for you?

It allowed me to capture moments with loved ones and introduce places to others who cannot make the journey to far destinations.

3. When did you start taking photos and what inspired you to get started?

I have been taking photos since I was 14, took my parents' old camera on school trips to Germany and Switzerland and captured hundreds of photos of cows and sheep.

4. What has been your favorite shoot and why?

Norway was one of the most beautiful and soul-searching trips in my life. After a corporate burnout, I needed peace and quiet and Lofoten Islands with its dramatic scenery fulfilled all my dreams.

5. Do you remember a difficult photo shoot session?

Manhattanhenge is an event, during which the setting sun or the rising sun is aligned with the east-west streets of the main street grid of Manhattan, New York City and attracts hundreds of photographers to capture the moment. I arrived late to Manhattan and had no time to set up my tripod or get ready for the moment, so was only able to take 3-4 photos.

6. What do you carry in your camera bag?
3 lenses, my camera, 3 batteries, 2 extra cards, and a cleaning kit.

7. Do you have a favorite location and time of the day to shoot?

I absolutely adore sunrises and sunsets.

8. Can you share three tips with your fellow photographers?

Think before you shoot, be patient, and open your eyes to the World.

9. Please share one of your favorite photos with us:

It was a beautiful sunset in New York (Aperture 71/10, ISO 100, Shutter 1/80, Focal Length 18/1). equipment used Canon EOS 77D. The inspiration behind this photo NYC trip was a birthday gift to my mum and wanted to show her the essence of New York. I feel lucky to be able to visit so many places and hope to show these destinations to those, who perhaps only get to see the World through my eyes.
