Location
I took this photo in my living room with available light.Time
I shot this photo around 3 in the afternoon.Lighting
The lighting for this shot was natural light. The light was coming in from behind the subject through a big glass door, nothing special.Equipment
Camera: Canon EOS 60D Lens: EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Tripod: Manfrotto MKC3-H02 CompactInspiration
The inspiration for this shot came from my love for music. The subject in this photo is my Ovation electric-acoustic guitar.Editing
I, indeed, did some post-processing for this photo. I used NIK software's Silver Effect Pro to manipulate the black and white conversion. In my camera bag
My bag will normally contain: Canon EOS 60D body Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM (ultra wide lens) Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS (zoom lens) Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM OS FLD Canon Speedlite 430EX IIFeedback
To shoot something similar I'd advice to: - use a tripod - focus manually - use lowest ISO available - get as close as you can - play with different apertures
