Lighting

The lighting for this shot was natural light. The light was coming in from behind the subject through a big glass door, nothing special.

Inspiration

The inspiration for this shot came from my love for music. The subject in this photo is my Ovation electric-acoustic guitar.

Editing

I, indeed, did some post-processing for this photo. I used NIK software's Silver Effect Pro to manipulate the black and white conversion.

Feedback

To shoot something similar I'd advice to: - use a tripod - focus manually - use lowest ISO available - get as close as you can - play with different apertures
