Congratulations on your Cloud Painting Award! Very well deserved! I lived at Coulter Bay for a time and you have captured the beauty extraordinarily well! The white cloud on The Grand is so typical.....The Tetons create their own clouds almost every afternoon....Brilliant!

Landscape and clouds!!! :-))) Actually You cant have bad picture with Tetons, probably that's why this photo is American Landscape 2014 Finalist Contest runned by Outdoor Photographer.Editing
Yes I did post processing in Lightroom. Some sort of regular adjustments with sliders you usually do. Contrast clarity white balance (since I shoot Auto WB I know I have to check it later). Than I needed to get out colors from RAW and here I used HUE section in Lr to work with separate colors like blue in this point and than finally sharpening with sharpening mask in Lr.In my camera bag

This is long exposure shoot so need to do it before sunrise or after sunset, Set camera on bulb mode and don't forget to use the steady tripod and remote. Camera Settings: ISO 100 f/22 (to be sharp from front to back all the way)and now its time for time range. For this shoot it was 300 sec. so 5 mins to get the strikes from clouds in the sky. all depends how wind blows, but thats the timing and luck of your visit. If it gets too light you can always use ND filters as many stops you think you need.
