One of my earliest photographs and the first to win a Blue Ribbon in a photographic competition, this image is very important to me as my last conversation with my father before he died was telling him about winning that ribbon and him being so happy for me.

I’ll be honest, I am not sure if I took this shot in my sister’s garden or my mother’s. But I can say it is an incredibly important image to me.Time

I won a Blue Ribbon in a photography contest with this image and called my father to tell him. He gave me truly important validation for me and my abilities as a photographer. The next day he died. So this image is so very important to me.Equipment
