Behind The Lens

Location

I shot this photo in Plano, Texas

Time

I was driving home from work one evening and had to sit at a long stop light, and when I looked up this beautiful sunset was in progress. It was amazing and I'm so in love with how the photo turned out.

Lighting

Natural lighting at sunset.

Equipment

I used an iPhone 6 to shoot this. No flash.

Inspiration

I love clouds, the sky, sunsets, and sunrises. The beauty of nature always inspires me.

Editing

I enhanced the photo with the tool on my iPhone to bring the colors out more, but that's it.

In my camera bag

I always have my iPhone 6 with me and usually my Nikon Coolpix L330 digital camera.

Feedback

In Texas we have wide open spaces and the weather changes on a dime, so I'm always looking up at clouds, the sky, in good and bad weather. My motto is, if you love what you see, shoot it (with a camera) :). Don't hesitate, because, especially with nature photos, it will only last for seconds or a minute, and you'll never see the same sunset or sunrise twice.
