This has been a bit of a challenge to find detail on. It is clear that it was made in Saxony (Germany) and likely by Hermann Kohler or a chap Winselmann. Kohler and Winselmann worked in a partnership with a third man but they left to start their ovwn company in the 1880's. They then disolved their partnership and one of them made the machine you see here. There is two 'Titan' brands - one on the thread tension arm and the other on the base but no 'Titan' name on the main arm of the machine.
The base is described as being a 'fiddle faced' shape - which captures it nicely.
