The photo was taken from the beach close to the San Francisco Yacht Club just as the sun was setting. So you get the southern part of the Golden Gate Bridge and the sun's reflection on the beach. Fort Point is there, right where the left arch is over land, but you can't see it in this light. During the day, this area is often crowded with families and with people with their dogs.
