A red billed tropic bird chick in the nest burrow on the cliffs below Half Tree Hollow of St Helena Island. This photo was taken during a routine monitoring visit to check the GPS loggers that had been placed on the tail feathers of the parent birds. The results of the loggers showed that on long trips the adults could fly hundreds of miles on round trips to feed of the seamounts north-west of St Helena towards Ascension Island.
