Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in a garden in Bielsko-Bia?a, Poland.

Time

It was a beautiful autumn afternoon (1:28 P.M.). I remember it was a wonderful, warm day.

Lighting

The light in the photo is natural. I'm glad that the sun was shining at a good angle and illuminated my pets well.

Equipment

My old body Nikon D90 + lens Nikkor 18-105 mm.

Inspiration

I took this photo spontaneously. I saw one of my cats yawning constantly. I immediately ran for my camera and luckily managed to capture this funny scene. After taking the photo, I added a story about a cat telling a joke to another cat and the other cat laughing.

Editing

I straightened the photo a few degrees and added some contrast, that's all.

In my camera bag

Camera Nikon, lens Nikkor 35mm 1.8 G, Nikkor 85 mm 1.8 G, Nikkor 55-300mm 4.5-5.6, Tokina PRO 11-16mm, lens ball.

Feedback

It's always worth having a camera at hand, even at home or in the garden you can capture an interesting moment. You must be a good observer and have quick reflexes. Learn to operate your equipment with your eyes closed in manual mode - then you will be able to take more satisfactory shots. Sometimes adding an interesting title to a photo can be the perfect combination to attract recipients. Pets are great subjects for photography, but please be gentle and do not bother the animals to take a photo :).
