Location
Downtown Kingman in front of the old Kingman Club, now House of Hops.Time
Golden hour, right before the sun dipped down behind the mountains.Lighting
I only had a few minutes of this amazing lighting. A few minutes prior and it was too harsh leaving blown out highlights on her.Equipment
This was taken with 5D Mark IV and my Canon 200mm. I didn't use anything other than natural light.Inspiration
I have seen so many great city photos from photographers I admire. Once I saw the neon lights in the background, I knew I had to try and get a photo of her dancing and the light was so pretty too!Editing
Yes, I did quite a bit of post processing, curves layers, level layers, skin retouching, warming up... too much for this blurb. ;)In my camera bag
For my outdoor shoots, I like my 200mm, 85mm 1.2, and my 70-200mm. Sometimes I will bring my Sigma Art 35 too! My camera body is 5D Mark IV. I usually bring a reflector, but hardly ever use it.Feedback
Find the light! This location was great, but if it wasn't for the light, the photo wouldn't be near what is. Light is everything.
