My husband is a landscape painter. I was looking to make a photograph of him working; he works from life on location and not from photographs-which means his studio is out in nature such as he is working here on the edge of the cliff with his canvas anchored with heavy rock on his easel due to high winds. I climbed down the side of the cliff (it was safe enough) to make this image. Once I figured out the composition, it occurred to me he was dangerously close to the edge. These cliffs are located near The Burren along the West Coast of Ireland.
