This image was taken in Lake Louise Alberta. The temperature was -32C and ice crystals in the air created this amazing moon dog. I wanted to add something in the foreground for perspective and my remote trigger stopped working because of the frigid temperatures so for this image I set the camera on a timer and ran ahead manually triggering my camera flash in my hand throughout the exposure. It took a few attempts to get what I was looking for but it was worth the cold fingers and toes in the end.
