When the ocean unleashes its power, the potential for stunning images is just amazing. The term bash wash is when a wave surges up a steep in cline or jetty and then creates a wave heading back to the ocean. When the condition are right the back wash will hit the next incoming wave causing a explosion of water. In this case the explosion is about 20 feet high.
