This photo was taken in a public park in Vilnius, Lithuania. The city and its people are wonderful and every time I look at this photo only joy comes back to my mind.Time
We were walking around with her around 4-5 pm taking photos on different scenes and joking around not taking it that seriously.Lighting
This is the interesting thing about this photo. I made her look above to the camera and said to her "look at the lens and smile like if you were smiling at the person you love". All this while a rich sunray was making her face glow as it can be seen. I shot the picture underexposed on purpose to see what cool effect I could do afterward.Equipment
I used a friend's camera canon 1dx, and the lens I believe was Canon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STMInspiration
She is a gorgeous person and her eyes were so beautiful I wanted to highlight as much as I can her face so everyone could see and appreciate how beautiful she is.Editing
Like I said before I shot this photo underexposed on purpose and then in the post-processing I made her pop up more adding contrast and making the background even darker by adjusting shadows blacks clarity and all of the normal stuff. I didn't grab a pencil and painted the background dark. I believe I also used the radial filter to make her pop even more.In my camera bag
I'm a simple low-budget guy haha I only have my camera and preferred zoom lens normally. sometimes I get with me the 50mm one.Feedback
Use the natural light around and play with it how you wouldn't normally do it and see what you can get.
