This is Lake Hayes situated in the Wakatipu Basin in Central Otago, NZ. I was staying at Arrowtown which is quite close to this beautiful lake. What struck me most about this capture was the light coming through the clouds, almost heavenly. As always this is a magic part of the world at any time of the day.
