This picture was taken in the Senso-Ji Temple when I was working on an oversea shoot in Tokyo, Japan.Time
I was walking around in Tokyo trying to capture the night life of Tokyo, I left the hotel in midnight and when I arrived in Senso-Ji Temple, it was 2am in the morning.Lighting
I didn't use any additional lights for this picture, There were some people around, so I lowered ISO and extended exposure time to fade the people who walked passed.Equipment
The camera I used for this picture was Nikon D800, with Nikon 14-24mm f:2.8 on a tripod.Inspiration
We see the busy city in multiple occasions, but how often do we see the other side of the city life? so I had an idea of going out in the middle of the night and try to capture the other side of the city.Editing
There wasn't much post-processing with this picture, I just dehaze it a little with photoshop. In my camera bag
I normally have my D800 with a 50mm 1.4 attached. Where in my work bag, 14-24,24-70 and 70-200 are always on standby, as well as a box of SD Cards.Feedback
This is not a difficult picture to capture, but my advice is, try doing this in the summer. It was early February when I took this picture, where the temperature was -10.
