Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken going up Mount Anboto, along a Roman road. On the way to this mountain, a stream descends that crosses a beech forest.

Time

The photo was taken during the morning.

Lighting

The lighting was not excessively high, rather a cloudy day, which made shooting easier.

Equipment

I used a tripod vanguard, a nikon D5500, 18-140 nikkor and nd64 filter Hayda.

Inspiration

The inspiration was in the forest and in the river that runs through it jumping from rock to rock, it is very relaxing to compose in these environments, any reason is good for a photo. In this case, the stone located in the trunk as if it were a nest, next to the moss and the waterfall, that triangle of elements, made me go along that line.

Editing

Yes, a little contrast and basic adjustments in Lightroom and a little more fine adjustments in Photoshop. I did something with the Luminar, but I don't remember now. :-)

In my camera bag

I usually carry the Nikon D5500 and the Nikkor 18-140 lens mounted, and an 11-16 2.8 Tokina lens in my backpack, plus a pair of ND1000 and ND64 filters.

Feedback

Practice and practice, today we have excessive information on the Internet, the rest is imagination and freedom of expression, each with its own style.
