In all of the old, abandoned places I've been to this one was the first that I've felt that something was a little bit off.

While using a flashlight to do some light painting near one of the trees, I heard what sounded like panting of a dog for 2-3 seconds directly behind me. It was about midnight and there was not another sound. I scanned the area with my flashlight for a few minutes, never seeing any movement or any shiny eyes of a potential dog, coyote, or wolf.

Despite this odd experience I still stuck around and took additional photographs including the one of me in the door.
