Location
On a London underground train travelling from Maida Vale to Regents Park Station. The plan was to do a shoot in Regents Park but the weather took a turn for the worse. We we're lucky enough to have the entire tube carriage to ourselves so we started fooling around to get some shots.Time
Midday which is why the train was so quiet. Was not what we'd planned but you make use of what you have.Lighting
It was surprisingly good if you hit the right spot. As we'd intended on doing a outdoor shoot I didn't bring and lighting equipment.Equipment
Cannon 750D with a 18-135mm kit lens. I was intentionally travelling light and shot mostly in burst mode as she danced around the carriage. This was only my 3rd ever portrait shoot and I was still experimenting.Inspiration
I travel on the underground daily and always thought it would be great to do a shoot there and this was the perfect opportunity. I love the varied lighting, different colours and very occasionally at some of the outer stations you get quite times.Editing
I used Adobe Lightroom to change the colour balance and overall tone and Adobe Photoshop to touch up some areas. In my camera bag
My Cannon 750D body and 35mm, 50mm lens. Sometimes I will carry a tripod, always carry a couple of extra fully charged batteries and memory cards.Feedback
Don't be afraid to try out different angles, locations and styles. This shoot was playful and fun so remember to enjoy yourself.
