The Prairie Crocus is one of my favourite wild flowers. I have also heard it called \"The Pasque Flower\" (and Pasque is french for \"Easter\".) 💜💜 This year, we didn't have many around our corner of Saskatchewan. It was a cold winter, and spring came late. A few crocuses did bloom the beginning of MAY, but within a few days had already gone to seed. Usually, we find them in bloom the first one or two weeks of April.
