Its was a very simple set-up this morning. The sun in the window, taking a chair, set down and timer on 10 sec. And run its with onOne software. :-) Thx for your positive comment. Like it very much, Grts, Peter

Wow. This portrait is so powerful. The way the lighting is handled, the texture the eye color. Even the scarf around the neck helps frame the face. I love it!

I love it. It apparently breaks some rules but does so in a way that increases the interest. I like the way that the eye falls on to the eye of the subject almost last. Brilliant

I wish to know what is the meaning of dramatic! I can see in your picture but in a lot of others I just see a -portrait!-

I toke the photo sitting down before a roof window (velux). A winter sunlight ray falling in from above.Time
It was 11h00 in the morning, weather was rainy and sometimes a ray of sun.Lighting
That 15 min ray of sun was so bright on a January day. loved it, so sitting down in a small ray of light a put the timer on 10 sec.Equipment
Mostly i use a tripod (if i have the time) shut down the stabilizer. Focused the lens on my hand where i suppose my head would be. Put the timer on 10 sec. And great shot.Inspiration
The little bit sun on that day made me doing that. If you look the other pics on that windows, you will see it was a sad day. A had time in the morning, so not editing, no models around, a try out for a pic of myself. I make a lot of photo's but almost never of myself.Editing
Not much of post processing was needed. The pic from my Nikon D7100 was raw I uploaded with my nikon software ( Capture NX-D) Did some basic chances of the light and WB. The rest i used the only photo-editing software i had "On1 Software : Perfcect Photo suite 9.In my camera bag
What equipment i normally i carry around ? As light as possible of course. A tripod, some lenses, extra battery, a foldable reflection screen. Flash SB 700 NikonFeedback
If i can give some advice to you guys in the context of my photo. Your first idea how to take a photo is mostly the best idea, walk in a circle fixing the target to have the best light, view and background, try it, you can delete after. Try to take something what you find where nobody would have the idea to take that pic. Keep the horizontals and verticals perfect and don't care or be shy what others think. If you see a ray of light , how small it can be, iso between 100 and 200, put a face init and take the shoot. I wish you all a very good photo hunting and keep up coming tho's great beautiful photo's here on Viewbug. Greetings from Belgium, Peter ( alias Pozofolio )
