Location

This shot was taken in Afghanistan during my 2009-2010 deployment with the Marine Corps.

Time

This shot was taken during the evening as the sun was setting.

Lighting

The sun was setting and the light was bouncing off of a puddle of water on the flight line. This reflected up to the underside of the rotor.

Equipment

Canon 40D and honestly I forget what lens I had. It was ruined due to the fine dust in the country.

Inspiration

During the deployment I wanted to capture all that I could. Even though we were in the middle of the desert there were so many things that kept my camera clicking.

Editing

minor post processing.
