Inspiration

I was on a mission to get a "decent" photo of this bird. I was chasing them around in the bushes as jumped from one branch to another very quickly, they just never sit still. This one landed on a branch right in front of me and I literally had two seconds to take his picture. I went from wanting to have a decent picture of one of them to have an amazing picture that was filled with perfect detail. It was really an incredible moment for me to capture the beauty of this fast, never-stopping bird.

Very few edits to the sharpness of the picture

Just my camera - I am a very simple photographer at the moment.

Feedback

I would suggest that anyone trying to capture a picture of these birds be patient and stubborn. You will probably end up taking many many pictures of these birds before you are able to capture the "perfect moment" of them sitting still. It can be frustrating as they hop from one branch to another or one bush/tree to another but in the end it is worth it. You can look back and appreciate the perseverance of trying to capture the moment and also appreciate the birds behavior a bit more.
