Location
The picture was taken in a forest near my place of residence in Germany.Time
At 5 o'clock in the morning I drove near the forest and went into the forest, at about 6 o'clock the deer came out of the trees.Lighting
it was just sunrise, fog was moving through the forest. It was a perfect moment with the sun and the fog as the deer came out of the forest.Equipment
This morning I only had a Canon 5D Mark II and my Sigma 150mm-600mm lens.Inspiration
I was hoping to see and photograph an animal this morning, luck was on my side that day.Editing
Yes I have the saturation, colors and contrast lifted, as well as the sharpness and a few more minor adjustments. In my camera bag
In the last year I changed from Canon cameras to Sony, in my bag I usually have my Sony a7, my Sony Alpha 6000, the most important thing for my lenses is my Sigma MC-11 converter to use my Canon lenses. I mainly use a Sigma 150-600mm for wildlife, a Canon 17-40mm f4L and Canon 70-200mm f4L for landscapes, and a Canon 85mm 1.8 lens for portraits.Feedback
Most importantly I find the time of day, morning or evening, the animals are the most active. a lens with a long focal length would be very good. To photograph animals you should take enough time.
