Outstanding composition. Cheers me up...Shot a storefront(s) veranda once with my shadow appearing to walk down the corridor; someone said, "Oh, too bad your shadow got in the way." I did it on purpose! So, 20 years later (Scorpios never forget) you've cheered me up. lol

Location
this photo was taken in the countryside of Pellegrino Parmense, a few kilometers from my home, it is an abandoned house located on the road leading to the town.Time
It was late afternoon and the sun was going down behind me.Lighting
The light used in this shot is only natural, the low sun behind me created this long shadow which I, since I was unable to eliminate, thought of using it as the main element of the composition.Equipment
this photo was taken with the digital infrared technique. At the time I had a nikon d70s converted to 720nm infrared which now unfortunately broke and I can no longer use it, from then on I abandoned the infrared technique and I dedicated myself only to natural color which is now my only technique. The lens I used was a fisheye which helps to make the whole atmosphere even more surreal.Inspiration
The infrared giving a surreal look to the photos lends itself very well to urbex shots or to old abandoned buildings. This house in particular seemed to still be miraculously up and I think it has now definitively disappeared, my shadow seemed to be a ghost that stretched over it to reach it, in short, the situation seemed very intriguing to me when I placed it in the viewfinder.Editing
Infrared photos require a lot of post production, in particular here I have inverted the red and blue channels and enhanced the colors by altering them in order to create this look with 2 main colors, yellow and blue.In my camera bag
I currently use a sony A7iii mirroless and several lenses. In particular, for such shots you need very wide-angle lenses that exacerbate the perspectives. This photo, however, was taken with a 720nm infrared converted camera.Feedback
For this type of shots you need wide-angle lenses and knowing how to notice somewhat surreal and unusual situations. abandoned buildings help a lot to create this type of atmosphere.
