Location
This shot was taken in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque New Mexico.Time
This shot was captured in the golden hour but there was forest fire smoke in the air and it changed the look of the sky and made the amazing purple colors.Lighting
Just the application of the camera and getting the right amount of light around the model but not blowing her out in the sunset.Equipment
I used a Canon 5D Mark III with a sigma 24-105 Art lens. The sigma art has an amazing ability to catch a lens flare.Inspiration
I love golden hour light and the way the colors are captured. No two sunsets are ever the same here.Editing
Some lightening in photoshop but that is about itIn my camera bag
Now I carry a EOS-R and love that camera. I have a sl2 that I use for free lensing portraits I have the standard 70-200 2.8 also.Feedback
Just play with the light and see what you can do!
