Location
This is the Rainy River in Northern Minnesota. It comprises the boundary between the US and Ontario, Canada. The south shoreline closest to the viewer is the Minnesota side. The distant shoreline is Ontario. The border is actually in the middle of the river. The Rainy River, located north of the 48th parallel, flows northwest into the majestic Lake of the Woods and is part of the Hudson Bay Watershed. This fishery is multi-species and known as the Walleye Capital of the World.Time
