I just love your mushroom photography, it is so delicate and the way you accentuate the beauty of even the smallest mushrooms is stunning. Your lighting is absolutely perfect.

I enjoyed the Bokeh background and fascination with Mushrooms at Micro / macro within the image. Nice work😊

Location
Autumn is a special season for me, I love to photograph all the little elements that surround my house and the forest that exists near the place where I live. Even during my trips to Portugal during work, I try to take my camera with me to capture the essence of autumn. The image was taken about 2 miles from my house on one of my weekend morning walks. The place is suitable for this type of photos because it has many trees, with a lot of humidity and high density of vegetation. Essential elements for the proliferation of fungi and mushrooms.Time
The image was taken one autumn morning, the light was very good and appeared among the trees. Once the image was captured in the trunks of two oaks, the background was positioned longi with a light that penetrated the leaves in an irregular but bright shape, exceptional for capturing images with bokeh effect. Moreover, at the place in question, since I took the picture well in the morning at 8:00 a.m., the angle of incidence is great for capturing small elements using only natural light.Lighting
The angle of incidence of light during the morning and at the end of the day provide good photographic moments, as in this case, I took advantage of the light entering the background between branches and trees. On the other hand I used a small reflector to highlight the details of the fungi, however I could have taken the photo with fully opened objective, creating a rounder bokeh, soap bubble type. But in this case I decided to capture with maximum detail the shape of the fungi and the texture of the moss in the bark of the oaks. I actually took 3 images with 3 variations of the object's aperture, processing them in LR. You may mention the fact that you did not use natural color. However, it is only a matter of personal taste, during processing I changed the color tones and the shadows, keeping and showing the details of the fungi and the other elements mentioned.Equipment
I used my Nikon D7100 and Porst 50mm 1.7 lens, on a tripod and a small reflector from the ground to get the light to the down part of the fungi.Inspiration
Every year i see a lot of images of fungi and mushroom at viewbug.com. In fact, i love them and i try also to publish my images with my style.Editing
Yes, processing started with all three images with a bracketing -1, 0, +1. They were processed in LR to HDR, changing the hue of colors and shadows. The effect will be something between an HDR image and a slight somber infra-red effect. In my camera bag
Nikon D7100, Tokina 11-16 ATX, Sigma 10-20, Porst 50 1.7, Nikkor 50 1.8D, Nikkor 18-105D, several filters, nd, coloured, etc, tripod, Sony alfa6000 with adaptor for M42 lens and some old m42 lens.Feedback
Every place as got a lot of interesting scenes and elements to capture, just explore them and put your own taste on your images. Sometimes the effect and your vision can give excellent results. Hope you enjoy my images.
