It's like he's saying, "Don't bother with the Lions, come look at me." Brilliant photo with perfect cropping and light balance.

Location
Photo taken at the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, CO. A wonderful place with incredible photo opportunities.Time
This was early afternoon on a very brisk November day on the Colorado plains. A day where I forgot my gloves, and It felt as if my fingers were frozen to the camera.Lighting
It was a bright day, but not in a bad way. Just enough cloud coverage; the sun had a nice angle and was hitting along the tiger's backside, giving him a bit of a glow.Equipment
This was captured with a Sony A580 w/ Sigma 150-500mm lens. Handheld with no filters. Focal Length: 500mm Shutter: 1/500 Aperture: f/6.3 ISO: 500Inspiration
Honestly, I noticed the background was unique. Not something you see often at this Sanctuary. You can get some incredible shots, but usually the background is a little plain. I noticed the water movement, along with the rocks & greenery in the back. Hoped I could capture what I saw in the photo.Editing
Basic editing on my iPad Air, Sharpened the tiger, enhanced color a bit and smoothed out some of the background to draw the eye more towards the Tiger. In my camera bag
Cameras: Sony A77 & A580 Lenses: Sigma 150-500mm, Sigma 18-250mm, Sony kit 18-55mm, & Sony kit 75-300mm mixed filters tripodFeedback
Keep your eye open for a cool backgrounds, where it gives something more to the subject. This is a weakness in my photography and I have been working to find backdrops that will complete the photo better.
